Turn Kids' Drawings Into a Keepsake Book

The drawing on the fridge was perfect for three days. Then another one landed. Then the counter started to look like a small art gallery nobody asked for.

Turning kids' drawings into a book is not about becoming a scrapbook person. You just want the pages that still feel like *them*. The seven-legged dinosaur. The family portrait where everyone has spaghetti arms. The card that says "I lov you" in glue.

The pile problem

Kids make art on a schedule that ignores your storage. School sends home packets. Birthdays bring more cards. Glitter shows up on the counter like it lives there now.

Here is the simple path we are building at Everdoodle:

1. Snap the art when it comes home. Good light. Flat on the table. The whole page in the shot.
2. Save it in your private folder. You sign up, not your kid. Their art is the star. You are the one who keeps it.
3. Pick the pages you love. Nothing prints until you say so. When books open, those pages become a hardcover book you can hold.

We fix the glare on the photo so the drawing still looks like theirs. The magic is the book on the shelf, not the tech.

Try this at home

• Snap art the same day it comes home. Waiting is how piles grow.
• Write the date in your notes. Even "March, first grade" helps later.
• Sort fast: love forever, maybe, or done for now.
• Retake the photo if the first one was rushed and the page matters.
• Tell Grandma you are saving a year of drawings. She will already know what she wants for her birthday.
